\nExcellent work, especially all of the notes you created at the bottom of each slide.

\nSomething you might consider when piecing it together is to do all of the audio first, and then putting it in when you do the final edit. In my 8840 (or 8842 I forget which), I created a video and did all the audio from my iphone. The recording quality is good enough and you don't need to worry about a microphone or anything extra.

\nI like the idea of digital story telling. I wonder if you plan to use it when you are showing off your final project.

\nIn our video Dede mentioned that most of the tools teachers use such as PowerPoint only automate lectures. We have just begun the process, and I am excited to see the students so thrilled about using digital storytelling.

\nI have not used iMovie, but assume it is similar in function as MovieMaker in the Microsoft suite of products. If it is similar, kids shouldn't have too hard of a time completing the digital stories.

\nSome other programs like Adobe Captivate are so hard to use that you'd have to teach an entire class on just setting up the initial project. However, once you learn the Adobe products, they have many more features that makes splicing videos together much more seamless.

\nAbout your groups this week. I felt that those who are in the laggard group are those that are closest to retiring from teaching. Do you think they are also less likely to adopt just about any innovation that comes around, including digital story telling? I don't want to come off as sounding ageist, but it stands to reason that those who are leaving the profession are less likely to adopt new ways of doing things....

\nOr on the other hand, do they plan on going out with a bang and having the last year be their best year....What do you think?

\nI really enjoyed the summary of the benefits of digital story telling. I think the slide provides the "executive summary" school administrators want when it comes to program ideas. It provided the benefits to kids from which they could show how the incorporation of your idea would positively affect overall achievement.

\nAmazing video! iMovie seems to have worked wonders with your content. I was amazed at how seamless the entire presentation was. I am a bit jealous I don't have the program because I struggled a bit trying to get mine uploaded to the sites. Well done on the Digital Storytelling presentation.
